The Patagonia Down Shirt makes life easier. It embodies minimalism, utilizing a pared-down design that traps your heat with ethically sourced and traceable 600-fill-power down inside a lightweight, windproof 100% recycled polyester shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The center-front zipper has an internal storm flap and chin guard, and the construction of the two external handwarmer pockets (set into the forward side seams; jacket stuffs into either pocket for compact carrying) create the two internal drop-in pockets.

Perfect as a base layer for skiing on cold days (it is that thin) or for walking-around on colder spring/fall days. Glad the down and other materials are responsible sourced. Size down if you are using a base layer.

Pros: The down "shirt" just looks awesome. So aesthetically speaking, this shirt/jacket is spot on.
It's probably about as warm as a nanopuff.
It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles (i.e., not a lot of things to go wrong with it.)

Great product! Extremely lightweight yet deceptively warm. It is extremely resistant to wind! I wore it on a very blustery (30MPH bursts) 35F day and was quite comfortable. Fits like other Patagonia products. I'm 6'0" and 140lb and the mens' Medium fits well. I also enjoyed the savings I got from Campsaver.
