This shoe is perfect for the trails and feels great from the beginning. Very good-looking and well-made. Rugged but, not stiff or heavy.

Third pair of Patagonia Drifter A/C hikers, love them all! Very comfortable and great for long trail hikes or just everyday wear too. Vibram treads make good grip on slickrock out in Utah last year.

This was my second Drifter purchase. My first pair is grey with light blue striping and I wanted something to go with the other half of my wardrobe. These shoes are comfortable. Stylish. Breathable and Rugged. The soles haven't worn down and the shoelaces haven't frayed. I would definitely buy again.

I wanted some low-cut hiking boots for travels on the mountains of New England. I love my high-toppers but they are just too hot in the summer. These Patagonia boots are just right, particularly after I replaced the factory sole with a better one.
