As long as you're in fast-forward, Patagonia's new InTraverse Hybrid Soft Shell Jacket protects and breathes through cold and changing conditions. It uses two different weights of polyester/spandex stretch-woven fabric, one covering the tops of the arms, upper torso, upper back and shoulders, and lighter-weight panels for optimal mobility everywhere else. Both materials are treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Finer points include two zippered handwarmer pockets, reflective logos at left chest and back neck, and a single-pull drawcord hem.
