First of all, these shorts are extremely comfortable. The material is light and breathable. Would make a great pair of travel shorts.
I really like the color. Pretty much bought them for the color.
The thigh pocket is pretty useless. I'd almost get rid of it. Pre-hike I think I had my phone in it and it would bang on my thigh. Not comfy.

Excellent shorts. Lightweight with a bit of stretch. My only gripe is the envelope closure on the rear pockets, which makes putting in and taking things out of the pocket a bit harder. Velcro or zipper closure would be better, IMHO.
