Pentax K100D Super 6.1 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera w/ 18-55mm Lens Kit 19157 is a fully-featured, user-friendly, affordable digital SLR camera from Pentax. The Pentax K100D Super DSLR Camera is an update to the entry-level Pentax K100D DSLR. These Pentax K100D Super Digital SLR Camera features a new Dust Removal System that combines a coating on the camera's low pass filter and CCD vibration. This Dust-Removal System keeps the CCD sensor's surface dust-free for better performance and increased longevity. Another new feature of Pentax K100D-Super Digital SLR Cameras is that they are now fully compatible with higher-end Pentax SDM lenses allowing for increased image quality.
In addition to these new features, the Pentax K100D Super D SLR Camera retains the same high quality functions and components of the K100D DSLR Camera. The K100DSuper Digital Single-Reflex Camera features a Shake Reduction System that helps reduce blurry images when taking pictures while moving, and in low-light conditions. The affordable Pentax K100D Super Camera has a large 2.5 inch LCD monitor with 210,000 pixel resolution. These Pentax Digital Cameras have a friendly Mode Dial offering Auto Picture and Picture modes as well as new Scene modes make photography even more simple. The 6.1 megapixel APS-C size CCD and sophisticated 16-segment multi-pattern metering deliver outstanding image reproduction, while the bright high-precision Pentax mirror viewfinder features a 0.85X magnification and 96 percent field of view.
