Light, places easily, racks great. Don't how these would hold up for everyday use on waterfall ice but that's not what they are meant for. Save these for alpine climbs when weight saving is critical.

It is a very comfortable and very cushioned shoe, with a big heel, yet still has a lot of sensitivity in the forefoot. Lightweight Petzl Laser Speed Ice Screws are superb. Petzl, due to the races near the teeth, bites well into the ice from a half rotation, unlike the Black Diamond Ice Screws need to be scrolled 1.5 turns. When compared with steel ice screws, aluminum ones spin much faster and melt out of ice slower.

Very light and well finished. This is easy to start and easy to thread in. Fast and simple. Easy to rack several and you barely notice the weight. This tubes clean easily as well.
Can't wait to add a few more to my rack.
