The SPATHA knife is designed to accompany the worker at height during all daily tasks. The blade design allows easy cutting of ropes and cordage. Q Description specifies that it can be locked in the open position but says nothing about closed. I assume this knife can be locked in the closed position as well?

It does not "lock" into the closed position, but the amount of resistance on the blade joint keeps it from inadvertently opening.
