I recieved my Petzl William Ball Lock Carabiner's and no surprises that the Petzl products are great quality, the locking mechanism is easy to use single handed and the gate opening in large on these pear shaped biners. Top carabiners if you're looking for a easy action self locking biner.

I recently decided to switch over some of my biner to auto-locking for a little more safety, especially for those in my family who are belaying me.
