Very solidly built, not some flimsy "worked a few times" toy. You'll have this for years. Take your time to really get to know this stove before you leave, as there are parts to change and clean occasionally. I've had no bad experiences at all with this stove. You'll never be stuck looking for your specific fuel type with this, as it burns nearly everything. I'm a gear geek, an...

I bought a primus omnifuel 2 stove and the 2nd time I used it the burner bowl deformed severely. And now Primus warranty service will not respond to my emails or phone calls. It is 2 months old. I need a stove so now I am looking at the optimus polaris optifuel stove. Also, I will file a complaint wiy BBB for starters. Real bummer!

Love these stoves. When you get it. Bend the little brackets that hold the flame spreader on out a little bit, so the brass bell part has room to expand when it gets hot. Then the brass part won't warp like some complained about. They've added a spring, so it won't rattle around. But haven't explained this in the instructions. I figured it out with help from other reviews. Wor...

Q Hi" how does it burn wax or other fuels if it's butane? Is there another port for this? Please explain! I'm very interested in your product.would be very good in the field! Thanks!
A

Great question. It comes with a fuel tank that you can use the fuels it lists on the web page with. You have the option of isobutane through the same adapter, but also any other fuel put into the fuel can(through the very same hose).
