The Prior BC Split now has Hybrid Rocker for extra float in the deep stuff. Its classic freeride shape has minimal taper and a moderately long sidecut for maximum uphill efficiency and edgehold through icy or hardpack conditions. The BC Split is a favorite amongst snowboarders who make their living in the backcountry and freeriders whose style is more geared towards fall line speed and large arcing turns.
