How do I use this pump to vacuum out additional air on deflation?

This pump will not be able suck are out of the inflatable.

Where is the gauge located on the pump? The other Advanced Elements pumps that have a gauge are located on top.

How do I use this pump to vacuum out additional air on deflation?
