Would this fit as a carry-on item on an airplane if it's not packed with anything? I believe the length restriction for carry-ons is 22 inches, so what I'm asking is if the frame itself is more or less than 22 inches.
I have the same question about the 60 liter version of the Lost Coast. — 1 Answer

After measuring, the 45L is about 22.5 inches long and the 60L is about 24 inches long. I can't imagine they'd give you too much trouble if the pack was totally empty and flattened out, but I can't say for sure.
