The Lost Coast 60 Pack (3356 cu in) size medium fits waists/hips up to 33 inches.

How good is this pack for a multi-day trip? Can a tent be strapped on the outside or would it have to go into the pack? Is it top loading only?

Which hydration system works best with this pack? I am new at hiking and am attempting a four day trip this summer using this pack. I would like to add a hydration reservoir to it for convenience.

I think you'd be happy with any of the hydration systems we have - Deuter, Camelbak, Osprey, Platypus, Hydrapak, or Geigerrig. They all make a 3 Liter reservoir that I would recommend for such a long hike. They all have their advantages over the other ones. Sorry to leave that so vague, but feel free to ask more questions if you need to.

Can this be used for a 10 day long trip? What is the maximum weight it can carry?

The Boreas sales manager recommends no more than 45 pounds, with a target of 40. If you took the frame sheet out, he would not recommend more than 30 pounds. Hope that helps.

What are the various waist belt sizes for the medium and large? I have the torso length of a large but have a waist of 32 inches. I am curious to see if the large will fit my waist.

The Torso length is the more critical measurement for a backpack. Since you fit in the large torso, I would recommend that size. You will have no problem fitting the large waistbelt since there is plenty of adjustment. They don't give waistbelt specs, but since I am a 32 waist, I tried it on and it fits just fine.

My hight is 180 cm and my waist 31, the torso is about 42 cm, which is kind of weird. based on the information from Boreas website, I should pick small size for torso or medium size for waist. Would you provide a small size later？If so, can it be fixed for a 31 waist?
