This is an authentic Canada Goose jacket. You can go on Canada Goose's website to see who their dealers are and we are listed. I'm not sure where you found ""outlet item"" but I think it just means that it is an outlet item. An outlet item just means it is a sale item. There isn't really a reason why it's on sale, the buyer of this brand decided to discount them.

I'm wondering if this jacket is waterproof? I'm interested in it for skiing. and how warm is it? Would it be good for cold weather conditions

This jacket is very warm and would have not problem keeping you warm skiing. It's rated to -10 degrees F. This jacket is rated as Water Resistant.

Some models of this parka are on sale, but the white med is not one of the ones. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

You will be fine with a small or a medium. As of right now, the jackets on sale are only available in medium or large.
