Do these gave the same amount of arch support as older, heavier models such as the Z2? I need a lot of arch support. The older Chacos have been very good in this respect.

Great question! The Zvolv and other Chaco casual sandals have a less pronounced arch. I would recommend sticking with the X1/X2 or Z1/Z2 either in the normal model or cloud model for the arch support. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
