These shoes do not have much traction on normal trails however they work well on rocky terrain. They are not waterproof.

This shoe is an approach style shoe, and is smooth under the front part of the sole. This does not provide very good traction for regular trails, but excels on scrambling on rocky terrain. This shoe does not have any waterproofing treatment.
