It is hard to know. You will have to decide the level of risk for yourself.
Lifesaver claims this filter removes: Virus – 99.999% Bacteria – 99.9999% Cysts – 99.99%.
And that it was Independently tested to exceed full NSF/ANSI P231 and WHO2011 ‘Highly protective tier’ drinking water standards.
As with any water filtration there is always a small risk that filtered water may still contain contaminates, that is why companies never claim to remove 100% of them.
