EH-rated shoes are designed to significantly impede the flow of electricity through the shoes and into the ground, reducing the likelihood of electrocution. EH-rated shoes protect the wearer from up to 600 volts in a dry setting. The EH designations are given by the American Society of Testing and Materials.
