Can these be used with crampons?

The Lowa Renegade GTX Mid Hiking Shoes can be worn with crampons, but he crampons need to be universal. They are not compatible with step in crampons.

Do you still make 16 B. I wear orthotic with thick socks would I need to order 16 D instead?

Is the sizing for this boot true to size. I use orthotics should I size up 1/2 a size? Thanks

The sizing is true to size. Lowa's tend to fit pretty snug for their size. I'm not sure how your orthotics would fit in the boot. If you size up, you might run the risk of heel slip. I would recommend starting at your true size and working from there. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
