Are these boots to hot for summer hiking?

Great question. With GTX(waterproof membrane) construction, these boots will definitely be more suited for wet and alpine environments. If you are in desert heat or tropical jungles, these will feel hot. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Yes, this boot has a Gore-Tex liner in it to make it waterproof.
