I bought this bag. I've used it outside a few times, and i like it. But, mine weighs 1000g w/o stuff sack, not the 900g advertised. Why is that? — 2 Answers

There is usually a little variability in the actual weight of the bag but that seems a little out of the usual range. That listed weight is for the regular sized bag, if you purchased the long you can expect a weight increase.

I would count yourself very lucky -- a kilo in weight is great for the warmth it provides! I've got a NF down 35-degree bag that weighs in at 2.5 pounds.
If you got the regular size bag, you may have ended up with a one that got just a little extra insulation. Either way, for the price I would say you have a great bag!
