Is there a way of locking the sections of collapsible pole together? The pole comes apart when turned vertical. — 1 Answer

Mountainsmith trekking poles have an uppermost pole section that slides down, from the silver band, until it clicks into place. Then you can use the outerlock tab to adjust the pole to the desired length.
