The Muck boot soles are made for all-terrain, so they should be acceptable for most activities. The material is Flex-Foam neoprene. It is 100% waterproof with exceptional comfort and flexibility so they should be fairly comfortable. It is also lined with soft fleece for warmth and comfort.
