what are the dimensions of bottle, i.e. outer diam, hgt?

The height is 8 inches and the outer diameter is 3 and 3/4 inches.

Is there a smaller center hole in the lid like there is on the plastic Nalgene bottle caps?

If you mean the top, there is not like the traditional Nalgene.

Will the loop carry the weight of a full bottle attached to a pack with a carabiner?

I have personal experience with this the loops are not intended to be used as a load bearing accessory strap. It is recommended you use some type of carrier. The loop will bear the load stationary just fine but friction over extended hikes will result in failure.
