I have an older model Losi 2P and my one complaint is that the mesh material extends nearly to the ground with a very low side wall. In strong winds my tent has filled with sand. I see the redesigned Losi 2P extends the side walls quite high. Would this eliminate the problem I had?

It will be better, but not entirely eliminate the problem. A single wall tent would eliminate that problem.
