Does this awning come with the protective cover?

Can the awning be placed so that it covers the rear of the vehicle? If so, can you go freeway speeds (closed up of course)

This awning is the 180 so it will not cover the back of your car. If you want one that will cover the back of your car, I would recommend the Nomadic Awning 270. Yes as long as it is put away correctly you can drive freeway speeds.
