This jacket is a very versatile one. You can use for casual use or any outdoor activity. The synthetic insulation is great for moving water vapor. Great for aerobic activities as well. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

The Patagonia Nano Puff jacket is Not meant for Cold, wintry wear (winter) but warmer/cooler weather wear (spring-autumn).
You can wear it If you're active outdoors but it won't keep you warm for long once you stop.
The main benefit is the synthetic insulation in which it'll dry quicker than down if it gets wet.
For warmth, the better choice would be the down jackets/parkas.
