can you fit a thermarest inside

Yes, this product has a 45 or 47 liter volume (depending on the variety chosen), more than enough to fit a thermarest.

This particular product does not come with mosquito netting. Looking at the product however it seems difficult for mosquitoes to get inside.

Does the zipper on this bivi have a storm flap w/ velcro like the older model RABs?

The zipper on the RAB Alpine Bivi does not come with velcro attachments on the storm flap.
