Photochromic lenses are able to adapt to the light around them, similar to transition lenses for regular glasses. The sensors on the lens will determine the intensity of the light and adapt their opacity to suit the light levels. They will darken when you are in bright light, and then go back to normal in lower light.

Green Sol-x Mirror is the second lens included with the Red Photochromic models.
