There are four battery modes deliver from 25 hours to up to 170 hours.

Does the Suunto 9 smartwatch have phone capibility and music capibility if so can you communicate through the watch

The Suunto 9 does have phone connectivity. You are able to see all push notifications from your phone, phone calls are able to be declined or answered. You can also control your media/music on the watch, pause, skip and restart your music.
In both cases this is just a Bluetooth connection to the phone, you are not able to respond to messages or store music on the watch.
