It weighs 5 oz / 140 g. It is rolled to deflate, which is pretty easy to do. It is matter of closing the valve after it is rolled up so it doesn't re inflate. The products life depends on the usage. If you take care of it, using it fairly frequently, it should be good for at least 5 years, hopefully more. Again, it depends on usage and care.
