Combining weather resistance with comfort for winter walking and mountaineering our Defendor Pants are winter-weight softshell pants with a fleece backer. Made using Matrix two layer bonded softshell fabric, with the addition of Matrix three layer water-resistant fabric on seat and lower leg, the Defendor Pants offer increased water resistance where you need it. Articulated knees allow freedom of movement, while zipped thigh vents enable ventilation and temperature regulation. The brushed tricot inner waistband is soft and comfortable against the skin, wicking away moisture so you stay dry and comfortable. The Defendor Pants feature a zipped expanding leg closure with silicone grip to prevent the pants riding up when worn over boots, as well as Hypalon loops at the hem for cord stirrup attachment. An overlaid reinforcement on the instep increases durability. Two zipped hand pockets, and a zipped thigh pocket with internal phone sleeve keep your essential securely stowed during a winter day in the hills. Offering comfort, protection, and weather resistance, the Defendor Pants are ideal for winter mountaineering.
