The Rab Logan Jacket is a technical fleece jacket designed for mountain use. It is a 'big-brother' to the ever popular Shadow Hoodie and uses the same Polartec Hardface technology along with Polartec Thermal Pro fabric. This creates a very warm jacket with hi-loft fleece on the inside and a smooth outer face - ideal as a mid layer for extreme conditions. The Hardface technology also means that you can get all the benefits of Thermal Pro plus extra wind resistance. The Logan offers something a little bit different to normal fleeces and does blur the line between softshell and fleece in a piece that has proven ideal for UK mountain days.

Good tough jacket

I bought it to wear while doing construction work outside in the fall and winter. It fits the bill. As others have said, it's probably a little heavy for backcountry, but it is very warm and durable.
