The Red Paddle Co 9'6â Flow is designed specifically for riders taking on the rapids. Based on input from experienced white water paddlers, Red Paddle Co gave it a shape that offers extreme durability and extreme performance. Its high sides allow it to break in and out of the river flow and a pronounced rocker so it rides out the bumps. The Flow also has multiple grab handles for safety and control, and a quad-iFin setup that means you don't get the â˜double bump' common to three-fin setups when you go over rocks. The fins are low-profile to avoid hang-ups in shallow sections, and because no two rivers are the same, the fins have been designed so they can be shaped to suit your riding style and the conditions.

MSL fusion composite and airtight coating New for 2016, MSL involves fusing a second layer of hard-wearing polymer to the dropstitch core at the raw material stage, removing hand gluing errors. The high-tech industrial process also saves almost 2 kg in weight and makes the boards stiffer at lower pressures.

Technology:

MSL fusion technology: Drawing from a mantra aimed at designing and manufacturing high-quality boards with zero compromise, Red Paddle Co introduces MSL fusion technology. MSL, which stands for Monocoque Structural Laminate, involves an industrial process that fuses the second layer of hard-wearing polymer to the dropstitch core at raw material stage. MSL reduces hand-gluing errors and the amount of glue used, which saves 2 kg of weight. It also delivers greater stiffness at lower pressures. (Red Paddle Co recommends inflating their boards to 18 - 20 psi for optimal board performance)

Thickness: The 9'6 inch Flow is 150 mm thick. This thickness is optimal for white water oriented boards. Its high sides allow it to break in and out of the river flow while it's pronounced nose rocker means it rides over the bumps exceptionally well.

iFin: No tools, replacements or spares are needed for the iFin system. For the 2016 edition of the Flow, Red Paddle Co went for a duel fin system so it includes a quad iFin setup with a US Box glass fin in the middle for better directional ability when on the flat.
