Nope. not my favorite. - Adidas Terrex Eastrail Shoes - Women's

I have been looking for years to find the exact Adidas to replace the pair that are my most favorite ever. I thought the Eastrail, maybe, just maybe the answer and end to my search. Nope. The shoe is heavy and clunky. For a medium width, shoe is wide, making the shoe boxy. Not a good look. Even with appropriate socks, there is slippage. It is like the shoe is higher in the heel, which causes feet to pitch forward, scrunching toes.There is supposed to be mesh, but these Eastrail shoes do not "breathe", so feet get hot. I give up. After 3 years of searching, I quit Adidas and now need to find a different brand to love.
