Trevor's Review of Adidas Terrex Swift R2 Hiking Shoe - Men's
Disclaimer* I haven't hiked in these yet.
I just got these in the mail a couple days ago and plan to hike with them this weekend (I'll try to update). And then eventually use them to hike Long's Peak, a 14'er in Colorado that is fairly grueling. I tried them on and wore them around the house a little to see how they fit and they felt great. They're pretty stiff but it makes you feel like you're wearing some sturdy full size boots. The support is great. The shoes are super light for hiking shoes and they seem to be a nice breathable upper. the GTX waterproofing gets good reviews, although I haven't tested that yet either. The fast lacing system is pretty nice...I never really minded tying my shoes before but maybe this will do a better job at staying tight throughout the entire hike. One of my favorite things about the shoes is that they look really cool compared to any other hiking boot/shoe. I'll probably try these out on the golf course as well as the traction is pretty aggressive and I assume they wont slip even a little bit. The rubber from continental tires feels very durable and has pretty deep lugs so it should be good for any terrain. I have pretty flat feet and these felt really comfortable, if you have high arches that need a lot of support you may want to look into adding an insole.
Pros:

STYLE
Support

Cons:
