Very nice tent, but not uv proof - ALPS Mountaineering Camp Creek 6 Tent - 6 Person, 3 Season

I use a tent poolside during the summer and it's up from May-September.
Turns out only the fly is UV proof. I had to buy a UV protectant and put it on myself. To quote the manufacturer: "Tents are not meant to be set up for month to month, continual use. Camping Tents are defined as “Any portable, temporary shelter or structure designed to protect people from the elements.” They are not designed to be a “permanent” structure. ALL fabrics, even those with a UV resistant additive, will break down over time. We’re not saying that the tent fabric will break down in a week’s time, but it will break down over time and we don’t recommend leaving it set up in direct sunlight for an entire summer."
Otherwise, this is a super tent, easy to set up, very roomy, very tall, walls almost vertical.
