I had a pair of lone peak mid 3s and have now put about 15-20 hard high country miles on these. The material on these seems to have fixed the waterproof issue around the laces, but I am not sure if it is going to be more durable overall or not. The shoe is very light and fast for a hiker, but is also very flexible. It excels on the trail and struggles on side hills and scrambles. Always love the zero drop and big toe box on Altras, overall a solid shoe.
