Really wanted to love these shoes, but out of the box were uncomfortable. I've had 2 surgeries for hallux rigidus and need a roomy toe box, which these shoes do provide. I wear 71/2 and ordered size 8. The shoes felt stiff with minimal cushioning and may have needed breaking in, but didn't want to wear them and not be able to send back. There was also heel slippage. I have worn Altra running shoes before with good fit and comfort, but was looking for a waterproof shoe for walking on slippery, rough surface. Customer service was excellent and always have timely service with Campsaver.
