Bluemoon's Review of Altra Arrows Torin 4 Plush Road Running Shoes - Women's
Planning to run a marathon when marathons are allowed again. Tried out the torin 4 and torin 4 plush. Out of the box, torin 4 plush is squishier, a little less bouncy and responsive, but definitely easy on the joints and feet. Ran 6 miles no problem but felt they would probably be better for 10+mile runs. The regular torin 4 feels faster. Torin 4 plush has some heel slippage. Must wear taller socks that won’t be pulled down while running also added runners lock lacing to the top. That helped. Good amount of rubber on the bottom, feels stable, feels like rolling is not imminent. Feels softer than hoka Clifton underfoot but not as tippy. overall would recommend, but this is not your sprinting shoe.
Pros:
Squishy, padded, some bounce
Cons:
Heel slippage, feels a little slow
Best Used for:
Long slow runs or recovery
Would Recommend:
Yes
