Good size and convenient, but seeing threads unraveling after one use of 3 days? - AO Coolers Deluxe Canvas Soft Cooler, w/Removable Shoulder Strap

Summary: I received this cooler in navy blue in what looked to be good condition. I followed the directions that came with the cooler and used it lightly for 3 days at the beach. It did the job well on its first use but im wary of the unraveling of stitching already. Also, i can't imagine getting a larger sized soft-sided cooler than this- at that point, why not just get a better, rollable, hard sided cooler? It's not particularly portable if it's much bigger.

Pros: kept our drinks cold on the beach all day. Ice definitely melted, but i used crushed ice that was already a little wet, and the cooler still kept the contents very cold. I even left the drinks in the cooler with the completely melted ice overnight, dumped a little bit of the water out the next morning and replaced with more crushed ice, and the results were still great the next day. Also there was no leakage all day, even when leaving it full of water all night. cleaning was simple- you can pull the lining out of the bag and wipe it down, as the instructions state. When the canvas gets wet while pouring out water, it dries pretty quickly. It's a nice size for what i wanted- a cooler that can double as a large bag to carry onto an airplane without looking like a cooler until i need it as a cooler. the side pockets are useful- i fit a couple of microfiber towels, change of clothes, ipad, wallet, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a few other things in them.

Cons: the shoulder strap is not comfortable if the cooler has drinks and ice in it (i had no more than 6 drinks in it and it was not completely full of ice either) and the flimsy little rubbery "pad" is mostly useless. While there is no leakage when it's sitting still, the side clip straps did get wet occasionally while walking (not really a big deal- we WERE carrying around a lot of sloshing ice water after all- just mentioning it so you know that if you don't keep it completely upright while walking, your side might get wet). Also, upon looking more closely, i can see the threading holding the interior material to the outer canvas material is already unraveling! That's pretty disappointing for 3 days of light use.
