Complements my beta ar - Arc'teryx Beta AR Pant - Women's

I have the Beta AR jacket, and was amazed at how bomb proof and yet breathable it was. I put it through the ringer this past winter. I loved it so much that I wanted to get the pants. They will be ideal for touring. But I am going to give them a go as a rain shell set for backcountry backpacking as well. They are perhaps heavy for that, but only relative to flimsier less bombproof stuff. I'll take that as a tradeoff anytime
