Nice jacket - arcteryx sizing has changed - runs longer than hip length on a shorter person - Arc'teryx Beta SV Jacket - Women's

Beautiful color, fantastic jacket however...I have several other Arcteryx jackets and I've always worn a small in the regular fit style. I don't like how the trim fit styles run - they aren't as functional for layering. I'm petite but I like to have room for layers and movement during activities so the XS has never allowed for enough room to do that. This Beta SV fits the same as the other small Arcteryx shells I have EXCEPT for the length which is too long on me in this model. It does not hit me hip length which is how it's described, it's more like mid thigh length. The sleeves run long too but I don't mind that at all, it's just the length that is bothersome. Very disappointed - will probably have to send back.
