Not that warm - Arc'teryx Cerium SV Hoody - Men's

I have purchased various Arcteryx gear over the past twenty years, and have always been impressed with build and materials quality, design and functionality.
Unfortunately, this product falls short in terms of functionality;it's just not that warm.
I read several reviews about how warm this product is, but my experience is that it isn't. The day I received it I headed out in just a t-shirt and this jacket in mid-20's weather with only the slightest breeze to walk the dog. In just a few minutes I felt cold all along the insulation 'channels' where the channels are sewn, and in less than eight minutes or so began to feel chilled at my core. Also - the hood does not fit especially tight around the face. I have a down jacket from another high-end manufacturer which has a much better and warmer fit.
I was so surprised by the lack of warmth in the jacket that I wondered if I had been sent the 'light' version of the jacket. Nope.
Boxed it up that evening to return .
