I use this pack for all my outdoors activities : long day hikes, rock climbing and ice climbing. I prefer it over a Black Diamond pack I own that is both smaller and heavier.
I appreciate the fact that this product can pack a full climbing rope and two ice axes. However, I'd be better if the fabric at the bottom were reinforced because ice picks tend to damage it.
The two daisy chains have allowed me to tread a sling and attach my snowshoes to the pack!
Keep in mind that this is a lightweight pack and and it has a limit. You don't wanna carry stuff that's too heavy, like a double climbing rack.
Overall the best lightweight pack I have ever used. Strongly recommended!
