I recently purchased an Arc’ Thorsen (size M). I am 5’9” 165, and originally purchased a small. It was too tight in the under-arms. Since adjusting the hood (make sure you do that), the medium seems to be a perfect fit. I wear it to work and can comfortably wear a sport coat underneath. I live in Chicago and the coat has proved to be very practical and functional for my short commute to work. While it is warm, it could be warmer. I don’t think it’s intended to be worn in subzero temperatures for an extended period of time, but for a short commute it is perfect. I would definitely recommend.
