Pure, perfect function - Arc'teryx Gamma LT Pant - Men's

I don't climb but do hike and backpack and have always preferred wearing softshells. I was a Marmot guy for a long time but after reading a lot of reviews I pulled the trigger on the Gamma LT's (on sale) and all I can say is that I'll keep buying them as long as they keep making them.
I can't speak to the long term durability but I have very little doubt, given the high quality construction, that they'll last. Just got back from a 10 day solo in the Sierra's and they handled everything the weather and terrain threw their way. I'm 6', 32 or 33 inch waist with big legs and the M fit me like a glove. Great stretch, worked in a wide temperature range, shed rain exceptionally well and breathed.

If you're serious about your gear I see these pants as a great investment.
