I found the fabric to be kind of coarse and plasticy, next to skin. I returned mine, in favor of the lighter SL, which has a silky feeling. I live in SoCAL, I use it for running and in the gym most of the time. In the mountains, the minor difference in insulation I can remedy with layers.
