Sue from NYC's Review of Arc'teryx Ravenna Jacket - Women's
I was a little hesitant on buying this shell at first because I wasn’t sure if it could hold up to Colorado’s ski weather conditions, but I wanted a 3 season type of jacket. Well, I went for it and am SUPER DUPER happy with my purchase! I recently went to Aspen for a ski trip and the temps went below zero. I wore only three layers (thin long sleeve base layer, smart wool long sleeve mid layer, and this jacket). I was surprisely warm on the chair lift, even when the winds were pushing 20 mph. And the jacket is breathable because I didn’t sweat at all (which I typically sweat after a few runs). Also, I am petite (5ft, 103 lbs) and a small size fit perfectly. It was not snug and had enough room/flexibility for snowboarding and layering up.
Pros:
High Quality and Workmanship
Durability!
Pit zips
great shape (looks good with jeans)
the hood fits perfectly with a helmet
Enough pockets and great wrist pocket for lift ticket
Cons:
I wish it was meshed pit zips
Best Used for:
Outdoor & winter
