Nice boots, but did not fit - Asolo Elbrus GV Boots - Men's

Beautifully made boots. Felt generally very comfortable when I tried them on in the house...except for one thing: There is a rise in the floor of the boot (below the footbed) that pushed into my foot. Kind of like the arch support extending too far across the foot from the arch location. So, although I wanted to love these boots (cause they fit so nice and snuggly) I knew that my feet would be in pain after hiking a ways. Too expensive to risk the boots not working-out. My experience with modern day mountaineering boots is that it they don't feel good wearing them indoors for a few hours then you are going to be in pain when out in the mountains. I am not dissing these boots, they just did not fit me,. They are well made, and mostly comfortable.
Pros:
well padded, nice room for toes to wiggle.
Cons:
arch of foot felt pressure
